Location: On site Glenolden, PA
Duration: 12+ month contract
The Structural Design Engineer develops, integrates, and documents structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and modifying complex structural and payload components using 3D CAD tools, ensuring accurate product definition across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams. The engineer integrates analytical and test data to validate system performance, manages supplier development and production activities, and leads design optimization to achieve program goals. Additionally, this role contributes to improving design processes, exploring emerging technologies, and developing innovative concepts for future product designs.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design (CATIA or NX)
- Aerospace design experience (structures or mechanical systems)
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles
