Location: Remote EST
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.
Translate complex business needs into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure requirements are complete, clear, and traceable.
Maintain requirement documentation throughout the project lifecycle and support change management processes.
Perform data analysis to support requirement validation, impact assessment, and solution design.
Write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, profile, and analyze data across multiple systems.
Identify data issues, inconsistencies, and gaps, and work with developers and data teams to resolve them.
Assist with data mapping, transformation logic, and source-to-target documentation.
Partner with .NET development teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with system architecture.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical design discussions.
Assist developers and QA testers by clarifying requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
Review test cases and validate that solutions meet documented requirements.
Required
3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
Strong experience writing functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and investigation tasks.
Experience working on projects involving .NET applications.
Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Experience collaborating with developers, QA, product managers, and business stakeholders.
