Location: Remote EST

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.

• Translate complex business needs into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.

• Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure requirements are complete, clear, and traceable.

• Maintain requirement documentation throughout the project lifecycle and support change management processes.

• Perform data analysis to support requirement validation, impact assessment, and solution design.

• Write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, profile, and analyze data across multiple systems.

• Identify data issues, inconsistencies, and gaps, and work with developers and data teams to resolve them.

• Assist with data mapping, transformation logic, and source-to-target documentation.

• Partner with .NET development teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with system architecture.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical design discussions.

• Assist developers and QA testers by clarifying requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Review test cases and validate that solutions meet documented requirements.

Required

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.

• Strong experience writing functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation.

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and investigation tasks.

• Experience working on projects involving .NET applications.

• Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Experience collaborating with developers, QA, product managers, and business stakeholders.
