Location: New Castle, DE - Hybrid on site 3/days a week

Salary: $170-200K

We are seeking a hands-on leader with deep Workday expertise across all modules-Finance, Payroll, Benefits, HR/TA, and HCM. This role combines strategic oversight with technical execution, including configuration, integrations, and process optimization. The ideal candidate is a "doer" who can dive into the details while building and leading a high-performing HRIS team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday strategy, configuration, and administration across all modules.
  • Serve as liaison between HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Manage system modifications, interface development, testing, and documentation.
  • Oversee HRIS reporting and analytics; recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Define and implement HRIS functionality (security, business processes, integrations, data loads).
  • Manage integrations with other systems, including scripting, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and lead a team of HRIS analysts; handle recruitment, performance management, and development.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to align technology with evolving business needs.
  • Maintain system documentation and support structured change control processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of HRIS experience, including extensive Workday expertise.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or supervisor role.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes, security, calculated fields, and time-off plans.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to present to senior leadership (VP/EVP).
