We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and ongoing support of multi-user computer systems. This role involves working closely with network and infrastructure teams to maintain system stability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support multi-user systems, including creating and managing administrator and service accounts.
• Collaborate with network administrators and other IT teams to maintain smooth day-to-day system operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain system-wide software and applications.
• Monitor, tune, and optimize system performance for efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation.
• Manage storage resources, including disk space allocation and backup capacity.
• Support backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Engage with end users to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate vendor hardware and software solutions and provide recommendations for procurement.
• Coordinate installation and implementation of new hardware and software.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies, standards, and best practices related to system usage and computing resources.

Required Skills

• REQUIRED: Top Secret Security Clearance
• 1+ years of Systems Administrator experience
• System Administration: Experience managing multi-user computer systems and user accounts.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency with enterprise-level OS (Windows Server, or Linux/Unix).
• Performance Optimization: Ability to monitor and tune system performance.
• Storage Management: Knowledge of disk space allocation and backup strategies.
• Backup & Recovery: Familiarity with disaster recovery and data protection processes.
• Security Best Practices: Implementing and maintaining system security standards.
