Location: On site in Cherry Hill, NJ

6+ month contract

We are seeking a Senior Virtualization Engineer with deep expertise in VMware vSphere environments to review, optimize, and enhance an existing virtualization architecture. This role focuses on improving security, stability, and performance-not building from scratch. You will assess the current design, validate choices, identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with VMware and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in enterprise virtualization environments.
Expert-level knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
Strong understanding of storage protocols, paravirtualized controllers, and time synchronization.
Ability to assess and improve existing designs.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
