The Staff Accountant supports the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to build strong technical skills and gain exposure to core accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Business Subscription Accounts
- Pay & Reconcile:
- Bank Loan Accounts
- Vehicle Loan Accounts
- Equipment Loan Accounts
- Utility Accounts
- Credit Cards (entry/breakdown/discrepencies)
- Reimbursements
- Bank Statements
- Prepaid Account Posting & Reconciliation
- Maintain the General Ledger
- Maintain Loan Analysis
- Intercompany Account Reconciliation
- Financial Reporting Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly
- Assists in Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Closing
- Assists in External Audits and Provides Documentation
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-3 years of accounting or relevant internship experience
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic analysis)
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
