Location: 1 day a week on site in Wayne, PA required, 4 days remote
Salary: 60-70K
- The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions.
- This position is responsible for working closely with stakeholders, gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and supporting system enhancements that drive operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Facilitate requirement‑gathering sessions, interviews, workflow reviews, and process mapping activities.
- Document user stories, acceptance criteria, current‑state and future‑state processes, and functional specifications.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use SQL to extract, validate, and manipulate data for reporting, analysis, and solution validation.
- Support data integrity checks and system behavior analysis to ensure accuracy and alignment with business rules.
- Required
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical documentation.
- Hands‑on experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments or project teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
