Our client in King of Prussia is seeking a staff accountant on a temp to perm basis:
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other balance sheet accounts
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP)
Assist with audits by providing schedules and documentation
Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify variances and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices
