Our client in Philadelphia is seeking a staff accountant on a temp to perm basis:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes

• Maintain the general ledger and support account reconciliations

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reports

• Assist with audits by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations

• Monitor and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives

• Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred (internships accepted)

• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
