Political Compliance Manager | Remote (U.S.)
A growing, progressive, national political compliance and financial services firm is hiring a Deputy Compliance Director and Compliance Director to support expanding client demand across federal campaigns, PACs, and Super PACs.
This organization partners with high-profile political committees and advocacy groups, providing end-to-end compliance, reporting, and financial management so clients can stay focused on their mission. With rapid growth and increasing demand, they're adding senior-level compliance professionals to help scale operations while maintaining best-in-class service.
This role is fully remote, with optional access to a Washington, DC office.
What You'll Do
You'll serve as a senior compliance leader managing client accounts while supporting and mentoring junior team members. This is a hands-on role combining political compliance expertise, client advisory, and people leadership.
Client & Compliance Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of federal political clients, including non-connected committees
Prepare and review FEC and applicable state compliance reports
Handle financial operations such as accounts payable and payroll for clients
Perform detailed report reconciliations and quality checks
Act as a trusted advisor on campaign finance rules, fundraising activity, communications, and permissible use of funds
Serve as primary point of contact for client budgeting and financial questions
Troubleshoot compliance issues and provide practical solutions
Leadership & Team Support
Review team work product including budgets and recurring financial reports
Provide guidance on FEC and state regulations to team members
Support workflow management, coaching, and professional development
Conduct performance feedback and oversight
Director-level candidates will directly manage staff
What They're Looking For
5+ years of campaign finance or political compliance experience
Strong working knowledge of FEC regulations and reporting
Background in campaigns, PACs/Super PACs, political organizations, or political law firms
Comfortable advising clients and collaborating with attorneys
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Confident communicator who thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment
