Position Overview

The Analyst, Transaction Management plays a central role in coordinating all stages of real estate transactions while supporting the underwriting and financial analysis that drives investment decisions. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven professional who enjoys both operational coordination and analytical work.

Primary Responsibilities

Transaction Management & Coordination

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all transaction stakeholders: internal teams, escrow/title, lenders, brokers, attorneys, consultants, and sellers.
  • Manage and maintain transaction checklists, diligence trackers, timeline calendars, and closing documentation.
  • Track and enforce all deal deadlines, contingencies, lender requirements, and critical path items to ensure timely closings.
  • Coordinate the collection, review, and secure distribution of due diligence materials including financials, property reports, insurance, estoppels, SNDAs, surveys, and organizational documents.
  • Facilitate signature routing and ensure proper execution and archival of all legal/closing documents.
  • Prepare weekly status updates for senior leadership, highlighting risks, outstanding items, and timeline shifts.
  • Support onboarding of newly acquired assets by coordinating with accounting, operations, asset management, and third‑party property managers.
  • Ensure transaction files remain organized, complete, and audit‑ready, maintaining data integrity across shared platforms.

Financial Analysis & Modeling

  • Build and maintain detailed Excel underwriting models for acquisitions and dispositions, including return metrics, cash flows, and scenario analyses.
  • Assist with investment memorandums and presentations for investment committee and capital partners.
  • Perform market studies (rent comps, sales comps, demographic research) in support of underwriting and portfolio strategy.
  • Support due diligence by analyzing financial statements, rent rolls, historical performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Track asset performance, flag variances, and contribute to hold/sell analysis and long‑range planning.
  • Maintain internal databases related to pipeline tracking, transaction comps, underwriting assumptions, and deal benchmarking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in transaction coordination, real estate underwriting, escrow/title, acquisitions, lending, or related function.
  • Strong proficiency in ExcelARGUS is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple simultaneous deals and deadlines.
  • Understanding of multifamily real estate transaction processes, due diligence workflows, and closing procedures.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.

Why Join

  • Direct exposure to the full investment lifecycle across multiple markets.
  • Balanced role combining analytical work with deal execution.
  • Collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.
  • Pathways into acquisitions, asset management, or portfolio strategy as the firm continues to expand.
