Staff Accountant
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end journal entries and analyses.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts.
- Monitor capital projects, including updating fixed asset additions and transfers.
- Perform cash accounting and related functions as required.
- Generate miscellaneous invoices.
- Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests, utilizing Excel and data mining from available system data.
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Provide support for accounts payable functions and processes.
- Communicate effectively with management and escalate issues as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
