Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce testing and development. This position is suited for individuals who are passionate about quality assurance and also possess hands-on Salesforce development experience - particularly in writing and maintaining Apex unit tests. The QA Engineer will be responsible for creating, executing, and automating test cases across Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute both manual and automated test plans for Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, and custom applications.
- Create and maintain Apex unit tests to support development efforts and ensure Salesforce code coverage requirements are met.
- Utilize Tosca to automate test cases, conduct regression testing, and perform end-to-end validations of Salesforce workflows.
- Work closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts to validate requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Test components such as Lightning Web Components (LWC), flows, Apex code (classes and triggers), and integrations with external systems.
- Validate sandbox refreshes, execute regression packs, and support production deployments in line with Salesforce release schedules.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce testing.
- Experience using Tosca for designing, executing, and automating test cases.
- Proficiency in writing Apex unit tests and working with developers to achieve required test coverage.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data structures, and both declarative and custom features.
- Knowledge of Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum settings, with tools like Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or Administrator are preferred.
