Beacon Hill in Los Angeles is partnered with a leader in aerospace and defense innovation in their search for a Senior Software Engineer to join of their most specialized teams. In this role you will be focused on building a rapid-deploy, precision UAV platform that provides real-time intelligence for mission success. This is a great opportunity to work in the development of advanced unmanned aerial and robotic platforms used by our military. Qualified candidates should have experience in the following areas:

Minimum of 8-12 years of hands-on experience with embedded Linux systems or GPU-based processing platforms.
Understanding of object-oriented architecture patterns and full software development and testing lifecycles.
Proficiency in Python and modern C/C
Knowledge of common communication interfaces such as TCP/UDP networks, serial protocols (RS-485/RS-232), CAN bus, I²C, SPI, and USB.
Experience working within Agile development workflows and toolchains.
Familiarity with Git-based version control and cloud-based continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
Experience working with Docker
