This role requires strong administrative skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys and paralegals; assist other practice groups as needed<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, court personnel, and internal staff via phone, email, and in person<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate meetings, conferences, and scheduling arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, format, edit, and proofread correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents<\/li>\n<li>Draft routine litigation-related documents and filings under attorney direction<\/li>\n<li>Electronically file documents with courts and maintain awareness of filing requirements and deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and track key dates and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks<\/li>\n<li>Manage case files, including opening, maintaining, organizing, and closing physical and electronic records<\/li>\n<li>Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and other administrative requests<\/li>\n<li>Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and document distribution<\/li>\n<li>Transcribe dictated material when required<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and firm information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of litigation procedures, court systems, and legal terminology<\/li>\n<li>Ability to review and identify pleadings and other litigation-related documents<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Experience with document management, billing, and transcription software preferred<\/li>\n<li>Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to exercise sound judgment, apply common sense, and follow verbal and written instructions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet business demands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five or more years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment<\/li>\n<li>Education beyond high school or coursework related to the legal field preferred<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work with complex legal documents, including pleadings and court filings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>***Only qualified candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bGVnYWxjaGkuNjM4ODkuMTI1ODRAYmVhY29uaGlsbC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">L01914MMK_1773158239<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/L01914MMK_1773158239\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Chicago, Illinois","_application":"legalchi.63889.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[175,182],"job-types":[18,2],"class_list":{"0":"post-122319","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-direct-permanent","8":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
