Transitional Care Program<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Child Development, Child &amp; Family Studies, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a child life or pediatric developmental setting<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual English\/Spanish proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, teamwork, and child\u2011development knowledge, including coping styles and trauma\u2011informed approaches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide developmentally appropriate play, preparation, and coping support for children ages birth-21 in respite or transitional care<\/li>\n<li>Create individualized activity plans based on developmental level, diagnosis, coping style, and family needs<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate therapeutic play, education, and self\u2011expression to reduce stress and support adjustment to illness, disability, or prolonged healthcare stays<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, family\u2011centered care<\/li>\n<li>Support siblings and family members through education, emotional support, and resource identification<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training, mentoring, and orientation of students and volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Maintain program supplies, documentation, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Monday-Friday, flexible shifts (8-4, 9-5, or 10-6);
