{"id":124196,"date":"2026-04-10T19:17:56","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T19:17:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1454363_1775848676-data-center-technician-hermiston-oregon\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T23:25:24","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T23:25:24","slug":"1454363_1775848676-data-center-technician-hermiston-oregon","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1454363_1775848676-data-center-technician-hermiston-oregon\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Center Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/1454363_1775848676\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installation\/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.<\/li>\n<li>Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation\/redline work.<\/li>\n<li>Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.<\/li>\n<li>Must understand customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Cleared understanding of job safety requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring test.<\/li>\n<li>Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.<\/li>\n<li>Perform 4 pair continuity testing<\/li>\n<li>Pull all types of low voltage cable including copper telecom cable<\/li>\n<li>Performing all types of copper field terminations<\/li>\n<li>Install ladder racking and seismic bracing<\/li>\n<li>Patch network equipment<\/li>\n<li>Read and Understand Port Maps\/Matrices<\/li>\n<li>Read and understand job floor plan and TC drawings<\/li>\n<li>Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.<\/li>\n<li>Install Copper and Fiber Cabling and labeling<\/li>\n<li>Affixing Labels to cabling and Power Cords<\/li>\n<li>Affix bar coding to equipment<\/li>\n<li>Affix free printed label<\/li>\n<li>Cut and install threaded rod<\/li>\n<li>Cut and install Uni-strut<\/li>\n<li>Cut and install fiber trough<\/li>\n<li>Create\/test Bonding whips, straps, and connections<\/li>\n<li>Understand the basics of &#8220;FIM&#8221;
