This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate invoicing in accordance with client agreements and internal policies, while delivering a high level of service to internal stakeholders and external clients. The position also contributes to process improvements and operational efficiency within the accounting function.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices in accordance with contractual terms and billing guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Partner with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure accurate entry of time and expenses<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and follow up on missing or unsubmitted time entries<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with client billing arrangements, including alternative fee agreements and eBilling requirements<\/li>\n<li>Submit invoices through client eBilling platforms as required<\/li>\n<li>Post client payments and apply receipts accurately to open invoices<\/li>\n<li>Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding amounts<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with clients regarding billing questions and payment status<\/li>\n<li>Assist with month end close activities related to billing and receivables<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a point of contact for billing related inquiries from internal teams and clients<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance on billing policies, procedures, and system usage<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and workflows<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to internal billing policies and client specific requirements<\/li>\n<li>Support internal audits and respond to requests for billing documentation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update client billing profiles, rates, and fee structures<\/li>\n<li>Process write offs, trust and retainer applications, and client refunds<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion<\/li>\n<li>Self starter who can work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with legal or professional services billing systems such as Elite, Aderant, Orion, or similar platforms<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of seven years of billing experience within a law firm or professional services environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communication Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZS5wZXJtLjE2ODkwLjEyNTg0QGJlYWNvbmhpbGwuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">J62020441C_1776182612<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/J62020441C_1776182612\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Washington, District of Columbia","_application":"finance.perm.16890.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,205],"job-types":[18,2],"class_list":{"0":"post-124333","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-direct-permanent","8":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
