{"id":124384,"date":"2026-04-15T13:08:03","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:08:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1454399_1776258483-data-center-technician-mesa-arizona\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T15:24:03","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T15:24:03","slug":"1454399_1776258483-data-center-technician-mesa-arizona","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1454399_1776258483-data-center-technician-mesa-arizona\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Center Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/1454399_1776258483\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Installation\/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation\/redline work.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"> <\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS<\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Must understand customer service.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Clear understanding of job safety requirements.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Be able to read and understand floor plans.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cable.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Reports to Operations Manager and take daily <span class=\"markf8n40k5c6\">direct<\/span>ions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running service jobs.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Possess skill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable, and perform all type of terminations.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Capable of working in Data Centers<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Shall be able to install ladder racking and seismic bracing both above and under raise floor.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Read and understand blueprints and design document<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Dress and furcate fiber trunks for splicing<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Maintaining orderly paperwork and running service<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Fusion Splice including Ribbon\/Single OSP\/ISP<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Install, connect, and decom network equipment<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Operate DSX 5000 tester\/OTDR Tester<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Program testers<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Download test results to Linkware\/Linkware Live<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Save test results, verify, and submit to customer<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Create mass labels and apply per Portmap<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Differentiate live cables from decom cable<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Copper testing and troubleshooting<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Conduct Service Swaps of live networking devices<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Understand &#8220;FIM&#8221;
