This role supports and manages sourcing process activities while ensuring business requirements are understood, risks are addressed, and value is delivered through optimized cost, quality, and supplier outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of work will vary and requires collaboration with a diverse group of cross\u2011functional partners. The ideal candidate brings experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or finance and is comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast\u2011paced environment.<\/p>\n<p>This is a <strong>6\u2011month contract role<\/strong> with a strong likelihood of extension and a preference for <strong>onsite presence in the Madison office 2-3 days per week<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a point of contact between Category Managers, business owners, and suppliers during sourcing initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Support and manage sourcing process elements for assigned projects, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Requests for Information, Proposals, and Quotes (RFXs)<\/li>\n<li>Supplier evaluation and selection<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation support and supplier due diligence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Clearly communicate project updates, timelines, and risks to internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Participate in or facilitate cross\u2011functional reviews of supplier proposals<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Contract Analysts to draft, review, and revise supplier agreements<\/li>\n<li>Participate in contract negotiations to optimize cost, quality, and risk outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Support supplier relationship management, including preparation for supplier meetings or visits<\/li>\n<li>Assist in rolling out category management practices in partnership with Category Managers<\/li>\n<li>Operationalize savings initiatives through analysis, documentation, and contracting<\/li>\n<li>Document and communicate savings outcomes and support required process changes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure sourcing standards and best practices are followed through education and guidance<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential alternate or backup suppliers using market and industry resources<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously with frequently changing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Analyze spend and supplier data to inform sourcing strategies and decisions<\/li>\n<li>Apply sourcing and financial analysis techniques such as TCO, ROI, make\/buy, and risk assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in <strong>Supply Chain, Finance, Business<\/strong>, or a related field<\/li>\n<li><strong>3+ years of experience<\/strong> in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related area<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience with <strong>supplier negotiation and contract management<\/strong>, including understanding of contractual terms and risk mitigation<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to mine and interpret spend and supplier data<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office<\/strong> (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non\u2011technical stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational, problem\u2011solving, and decision\u2011making skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with limited direction while collaborating cross\u2011functionally<\/li>\n<li>Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with <strong>ERP systems<\/strong> (e.g., SAP)<\/li>\n<li>Prior hands\u2011on experience executing sourcing processes or large RFX efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bWFkdHQuODkyODEuMTI1ODRAYmVhY29uaGlsbC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">hsmadsourcing_1776372726<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/hsmadsourcing_1776372726\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Madison, Wisconsin","_application":"madtt.89281.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[190,187],"job-types":[2,16],"class_list":{"0":"post-124464","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-full-time","8":"job-type-temporary-contract"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
