This role will focus on fund\u2011level accounting, quarterly close, investor allocations, and fee calculations across complex real estate investment structures.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate brings strong real estate fund accounting experience, is comfortable working independently in a fast\u2011paced environment, and has hands\u2011on experience with investment accounting systems (Yardi Investment Accounting strongly preferred).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Review fund\u2011 and investment\u2011level account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and review management fees and performance\u2011based fees in accordance with governing documents<\/li>\n<li>Support investor capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, allocations, and true\u2011ups<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review fund\u2011level financial statements and supporting schedules under U.S. GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Provide audit, tax, and valuation support, including preparation of schedules and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist with accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, and new investment onboarding<\/li>\n<li>Partner with internal teams (portfolio management, valuations, tax, treasury) to resolve accounting issues<\/li>\n<li>Identify and troubleshoot data issues within the investment accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Assist with documentation, controls, and process improvements as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in fund or investment accounting, preferably within real estate<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of real estate fund structures, including open\u2011 and closed\u2011end funds<\/li>\n<li>Experience with management fees, investor allocations, and performance\u2011based fee structures<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with investment accounting systems;
