{"id":124841,"date":"2026-04-23T17:46:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T17:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/nhc-1254861_1776966401-early-intervention-specialist-yarmouth-massachusetts\/"},"modified":"2026-04-25T01:52:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T01:52:52","slug":"nhc-1254861_1776966401-early-intervention-specialist-yarmouth-massachusetts","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/nhc-1254861_1776966401-early-intervention-specialist-yarmouth-massachusetts\/","title":{"rendered":"Early Intervention Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/NHC-1254861_1776966401\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2><strong>Early Intervention Specialist (EIS)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Cod &amp; Surrounding Areas, MA (Home\u2011based with local travel)<br \/> <strong>Organization Type:<\/strong> Community\u2011based Human Services &amp; Early Intervention Provider<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Active <strong>Massachusetts licensure<\/strong> in one of the following: OT, RN, LMHC, SLP, PT, or LCSW\/LICSW, and eligibility to serve as an Early Intervention Specialist<\/li>\n<li><strong>Early Intervention Specialist certification<\/strong> (or ability to obtain per state standards)<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with <strong>infants, toddlers, and families<\/strong> in home\u2011 or community\u2011based settings<\/li>\n<li>Valid <strong>Massachusetts driver&#8217;s license<\/strong>, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for home visits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Job Duties<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct developmental assessments and eligibility evaluations across cognitive, motor, communication, social\u2011emotional, and adaptive domains<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with families to develop and update <strong>Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)<\/strong> with measurable goals<\/li>\n<li>Provide home\u2011, community\u2011, and group\u2011based early intervention services using a <strong>parent\/caregiver coaching model<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Educate and empower families to support child development, access resources, and advocate for their child&#8217;s needs<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers to ensure integrated service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Maintain timely, accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Early Intervention operational standards<\/li>\n<li>Monitor progress toward IFSP goals and adjust interventions as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Flexible, built around caseload; seeking 30-40 hours\/week (24 hours minimum). No weekends. Some virtual visits available for island\u2011based families<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pay Range (Hourly, DOE):<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Occupational Therapist: <strong>$34-38\/hr<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Registered Nurse: <strong>$33-36\/hr<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Licensed Mental Health Counselor \/ Social Worker (LCSW\/LICSW): <strong>$33-35.50\/hr<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Speech\u2011Language Pathologist: <strong>$37-40\/hr<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Physical Therapist: <strong>$38-40\/hr<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mileage is reimbursed at the current federal rate; ferry travel is covered when applicable.
