{"id":124914,"date":"2026-04-24T17:27:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T17:27:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/l028746-mjr_1777051661-ip-patent-prosecution-paralegal-chicago-illinois\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T21:18:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T21:18:40","slug":"l028746-mjr_1777051661-ip-patent-prosecution-paralegal-chicago-illinois","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/l028746-mjr_1777051661-ip-patent-prosecution-paralegal-chicago-illinois\/","title":{"rendered":"IP Patent Prosecution Paralegal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/L028746-MJR_1777051661\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an IP Paralegal to join a Chicago-based law firm practice!<\/strong> This role supports a busy Intellectual Property team and offers competitive compensation, flexibility depending on the practice group, and the opportunity to work on complex domestic and foreign patent matters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills required and job duties include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3+ years of Intellectual Property paralegal experience required<\/li>\n<li>Strong preference for experience with <strong>foreign patent prosecution<\/strong>, though all IP backgrounds will be considered<\/li>\n<li>Assist attorneys with correspondence and responses to foreign associates<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Powers of Attorney, notarizations, apostilles, annuity instructions, and Office Action response support<\/li>\n<li>Manage patent dockets, monitor deadlines, and ensure filings are completed timely<\/li>\n<li>Proactively track case schedules and filing requirements<\/li>\n<li>Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, clients, investors, and external patent agents<\/li>\n<li>Electronically file documents and maintain organized electronic case files<\/li>\n<li>Assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation as needed<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or equivalent experience required;
