This role is part of a growing property management organization that recently brought several communities <strong>in-house<\/strong> after transitioning from a third-party management company. With new leadership, expanded structure, and strong corporate support (Accounting, Asset Management, HUD, and Compliance teams), this role is critical to stabilizing operations, supporting site staff, and ensuring compliance across newly acquired assets.<\/p>\n<p>This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role ideal for a seasoned property management professional who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and navigating both operational and resident-facing responsibilities in affordable or mixed-income housing environments.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Community &amp; Operations Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee daily operations of the townhome community, ensuring efficient, compliant, and resident-focused management<\/li>\n<li>Lead, train, and support on-site staff, including Assistant Community Managers and Occupancy Specialists<\/li>\n<li>Provide structure, oversight, and consistency during a period of transition under new management<\/li>\n<li>Address staff changes professionally, recognizing that some turnover is expected with new leadership<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary on-site representative for the ownership and corporate teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Affordable Housing &amp; Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage affordable housing programs including <strong>Section 8, Tax Credit (LIHTC), and\/or HUD<\/strong> (depending on the property)<\/li>\n<li>Oversee waitlists, applications, income verifications, and eligibility determinations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with internal HUD and Compliance teams to meet audit and reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records and documentation for resident files and certifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Resident Relations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a key point of contact for residents, handling sensitive social and emotional situations with professionalism and empathy<\/li>\n<li>Address resident concerns, lease issues, and escalations in a timely and compliant manner<\/li>\n<li>Foster a stable, respectful, and well-managed community environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Asset &amp;
