Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We are partnering with a mission driven national nonprofit organization seeking an experienced<strong data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"159\"> Controller<\/strong> to lead accounting operations and financial reporting.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"164ueu3\" data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"768\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2316\">\n<li data-section-id=\"g5schz\" data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"953\">Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, month end close, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"f3nb7a\" data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1051\">Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"13a5c4a\" data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1131\">Maintain strong internal controls and oversee balance sheet reconciliations<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"8s4miv\" data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1224\">Improve accounting processes, workflows, and systems to drive efficiency and scalability<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1tqxl2s\" data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1321\">Oversee revenue recognition, grants accounting, donor restricted funds, and cost allocations<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"4afy83\" data-start=\"1356\" data-end=\"1419\">Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing accounting team<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1pbc24x\" data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1487\">Provide coaching, performance feedback, and succession planning<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ks7upz\" data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1588\">Partner with executive leadership to support organizational priorities and strategic initiatives<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ks7upz\" data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1588\">Lead annual external audit process and preparation of supporting schedules<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1evw818\" data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1788\">Oversee tax filings including Form 990 in partnership with outside advisors<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"604fun\" data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1899\">Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, federal funding requirements, and internal policies<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1q4zi5t\" data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"1994\">Support fraud risk management, documentation retention, and financial governance practices<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"zxibef\" data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2094\">Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"b12gvi\" data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2149\">Oversee cash flow reporting and liquidity planning<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"gufydk\" data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2236\">Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investment partners<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"goyy13\" data-start=\"2237\" data-end=\"2316\">Provide reporting and financial insights to leadership and board committees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"12f3so4\" data-start=\"2318\" data-end=\"2336\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2338\" data-end=\"2960\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1j4j104\" data-start=\"2338\" data-end=\"2400\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"z1uge8\" data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2487\">10+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years in leadership<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"5fd26x\" data-start=\"2488\" data-end=\"2514\">CPA strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1jn1mog\" data-start=\"2515\" data-end=\"2567\">Nonprofit accounting experience highly preferred<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1737ty2\" data-start=\"2568\" data-end=\"2648\">Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audits, and financial reporting<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"8ydd00\" data-start=\"2649\" data-end=\"2731\">Experience with grants, restricted funding, and compliance reporting preferred<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ubj9ed\" data-start=\"2732\" data-end=\"2823\">Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and communicate with senior leadership<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"v8la65\" data-start=\"2824\" data-end=\"2892\">Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP systems experience required<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"11uqhfw\" data-start=\"2893\" data-end=\"2960\">Experience with <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">NetSuite<\/span><\/span> preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
