Our client, located in the Raleigh, NC area, is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the close process, partnering cross-functionally, and making an impact.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"401\" data-end=\"540\">While working as the Senior GL Accountant, you will partner closely with accounting and finance leadership with responsibilities including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"1389\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1qy92z0\" data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"605\">Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"hekno9\" data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"710\">Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while meeting tight reporting deadlines<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"xo8u4z\" data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"791\">Perform account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and timeliness<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"10aafln\" data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"897\">Partner with FP&amp;A and Commercial Finance to ensure SG&amp;A accruals are properly identified and recorded<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"9t2vma\" data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"967\">Manage and maintain the Capital Expenditure Request (CER) process<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1we4jbq\" data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1046\">Ensure capitalized software is accounted for in accordance with ASC 350-40<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"25lk6i\" data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1136\">Maintain lease accounting in LeaseQuery, including accurate entry and ongoing updates<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1hjgsy2\" data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1231\">Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the close process<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"10m04tr\" data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1322\">Collaborate with Audit and Risk Management to support compliance and internal controls<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"urv8de\" data-start=\"1323\" data-end=\"1389\">Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1576\">This is an incredible opportunity with a company that offers a collaborative environment, strong leadership, and room for growth. This role is primarily in-office with some flexibility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1578\" data-end=\"1629\">To be considered for this position, you would need:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"2167\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1fpb4ws\" data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"1683\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or related field<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1gmgoz2\" data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1761\">3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a senior or GL-focused role<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"juruvb\" data-start=\"1762\" data-end=\"1809\">Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus)<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1az94fq\" data-start=\"1810\" data-end=\"1896\">Strong understanding of US GAAP; experience with leases and fixed assets preferred<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"j5dwjr\" data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1953\">Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"fl4p08\" data-start=\"1954\" data-end=\"2047\">Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1h38zwt\" data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2119\">Strong communication skills and the ability to partner across teams<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"143spm1\" data-start=\"2120\" data-end=\"2167\">High level of integrity and professionalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2169\" data-end=\"2302\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Please apply!
