Our client, located in the Raleigh, NC area, is looking for a sharp, experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing company that values expertise, initiative, and a strong team mindset.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"353\" data-end=\"480\">While working as the Tax Manager, you will partner closely with leadership and oversee a variety of responsibilities including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"482\" data-end=\"1179\">\n<li data-section-id=\"19qh8zs\" data-start=\"482\" data-end=\"599\">Manage and review federal, state, and local tax filings (corporate, partnership, and\/or individual as applicable)<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1hmi7eq\" data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"676\">Oversee the tax compliance process, ensuring accuracy and timely filings<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"g8eira\" data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"773\">Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, providing guidance to internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1glsp9r\" data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"866\">Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to minimize risk and maximize savings<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1b0321c\" data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"956\">Review and\/or prepare tax provisions and assist with financial reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1ao9oby\" data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1021\">Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"nn6k3u\" data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1098\">Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact to the organization<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"u0drq6\" data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1179\">Mentor and support junior staff, helping to develop the overall tax function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1378\">This is an incredible opportunity with a company that offers strong leadership, a collaborative environment, and real opportunity for growth. This role is primarily in-office with some flexibility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1431\">To be considered for this position, you would need:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1746\">\n<li data-section-id=\"s1gcok\" data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1493\">5+ years of tax experience (public accounting preferred)<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1r1v94z\" data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1534\">BS\/BA in Accounting or related field<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1s64yds\" data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1582\">CPA highly preferred (or actively pursuing)<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"jhlj1n\" data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1640\">Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"17ooovg\" data-start=\"1641\" data-end=\"1689\">Experience with tax software and ERP systems<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"j5dwjr\" data-start=\"1690\" data-end=\"1746\">Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1881\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Please apply!
