This role will partner closely with senior finance leadership and play a hands\u2011on role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability across the accounting function.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, operational leadership, and experience working within complex or distributed accounting environments.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, close, reconciliations, and financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Own and manage the month\u2011end and quarter\u2011end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Partner with senior finance leadership on process improvements, controls, and structural enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Manage and review work performed by internal teams and external\/offshore accounting resources<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits, including audit preparation and follow\u2011up<\/li>\n<li>Drive documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of accounting procedures<\/li>\n<li>Act as a key point of contact across finance, FP&amp;A, and other cross\u2011functional stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience leading an accounting function at the Director or Senior Manager level<\/li>\n<li>Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and hands\u2011on close and reporting experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with <strong>offshore or outsourced accounting teams<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate in a fast\u2011paced, evolving environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership, communication, and cross\u2011functional partnership skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nice to Have<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CPA or equivalent certification<\/li>\n<li>Experience within agency, professional services, or global organizations<\/li>\n<li>Background supporting accounting transformations, restructurings, or scaling environments<\/li>\n<li>ERP or cloud\u2011based accounting system experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Compensation<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive hourly rate;
