This individual ensures accurate and timely financial statements, supports the close process, and partners with property management and asset management teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analysis. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow<\/li>\n<li>Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide insights to management and asset teams<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash activity, and oversee tenant receipts and disbursements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all property-level financial data<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with property managers on budgets, forecasts, and operational reporting<\/li>\n<li>Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes<\/li>\n<li>Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and applicable lease agreements and loan documents<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a key point of contact for assigned properties and cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required <\/li>\n<li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within real estate or property accounting<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation<\/li>\n<li>Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CPA or CPA track is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with commercial, mixed-use, or multifamily portfolios<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with lease terms, property management agreements, and real estate structures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZS5wZXJtLjAxNjg2LjEyNTg0QGJlYWNvbmhpbGwuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">J125609C_1778169044<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/J125609C_1778169044\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Washington, District of Columbia","_application":"finance.perm.01686.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,325],"job-types":[18,2],"class_list":{"0":"post-125674","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","7":"job-type-direct-permanent","8":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
