This role is <strong>exclusively dedicated to homebuilder work<\/strong>, and the selected attorney must be comfortable with a <strong>single\u2011focus workload<\/strong> (no split responsibilities). This is a contract SPL1 opportunity for someone who is looking for a longer-term fit, with potential to progress to SPL2 for the right person.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Onsite &#8211; Raleigh, NC 27603. Candidates must be Raleigh-based and able to work onsite <strong>at least 4 days per week<\/strong>, with a strong preference for <strong>5 days per week<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start: <\/strong>ASAP<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 6 months to start, with the potential to transition to a direct-hire Special Project Lawyer (SPL2) role within the firm<\/li>\n<li><strong>Concurrent employment: <\/strong>not permitted<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hours:<\/strong> 35-40 hours per week<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pay:<\/strong> up to $85\/hour, depending on experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active <strong>North Carolina <\/strong>bar license in good standing<\/li>\n<li>Law firm experience and\/or in-house experience with a homebuilder<\/li>\n<li>Strong general real estate background<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to focus exclusively on homebuilder matters<\/li>\n<li><strong>Required homebuilder experience:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft purchase and sale agreements and lot contracts<\/li>\n<li>Draft closing documents<\/li>\n<li>Review title and survey matters<\/li>\n<li>Prepare homeowners&#8217;
