DETAILS: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Remote until December – in office 3 days a week from here. Office will located in Whites Creek area
Start Date: ASAP
Candidate pay rate: $90k
Type: Direct Hire
Hours: M-F, 8am – 5pm<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT<\/strong>
* 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience<\/div>\n

– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance <\/div>\n
* Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and month end close
* Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
* Strong muti-tasking capabilities and deadline oriented<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT<\/strong>
* General Ledger & Month-End Close
* Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments
* Perform monthend and yearend close activities in accordance with deadlines
* Ensure expenses and revenues are recorded in the correct accounting period<\/p>\n

* Account Reconciliations
* Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
* Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
* Maintain supporting documentation for all reconciled accounts<\/p>\n

* Financial Reporting & Analysis
* Support preparation of internal financial statements and management reports
* Analyze variances and trends to support leadership decisionmaking
* Assist with cash flow analysis and forecasting support<\/p>\n

* Intercompany & MultiEntity Accounting
* Assist with intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliations
* Ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple legal entities
* Support consolidation and elimination processes as needed<\/p>\n

* CrossFunctional Support
* Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate posting and reconciliation
* Coordinate with Payroll on payroll entries, accruals, and reconciliations
* Support Operations with financial questions related to projects and events<\/p>\n

* Controls, Audit & Process Improvement
* Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and controls
* Support audits, reviews, and adhoc accounting requests
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation<\/div>\n
