This is a long-term opportunity that provides direct exposure to executive leadership and clear growth potential.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This position requires a strong background in DoD\/government contract accounting, financial leadership, compliance management, and is also able to support executive leadership with strategic financial planning and operational decision-making. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is a full-time, primarily on-site position operating on a 9\/80 work schedule, allowing employees to work extended hours Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off.   Remote or hybrid flexibility may be considered for highly qualified candidates.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions in compliance with CAS, FAR, DFARS, and other government contracting regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and maintain Earned Value Management systems to monitor program financial performance and budget adherence.<\/li>\n<li>Lead audit preparation and coordination with external auditors, DCAA, DCMA, and internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Manage general ledger activities, accounts payable\/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash flow operations.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with program managers and contract administrators to ensure accurate project costing and contract compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and utilize financial reporting, job costing, forecasting, and compliance tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Support executive leadership with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and risk analysis initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and develop accounting staff while establishing performance expectations and training initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Drive process improvements and strengthen internal accounting controls and operational efficiencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years of accounting and finance experience in government contracting environments.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
