Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a respected Seattle-area law firm seeking an Associate or Of Counsel Attorney to support its litigation practice. The firm is looking for an attorney with an insurance defense background and strong hands-on litigation experience.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of litigation experience, with preference for candidates who have handled insurance defense, general liability, personal injury defense, premises liability, construction defect, coverage, bad faith, or similar civil litigation matters.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Details:<\/p>\n

Location: Seattle, WA <\/p>\n

Compensation: $65-$77\/hour, depending on experience <\/p>\n

Schedule: Full-time <\/p>\n

Position Type: Contract \/ Temp-to-Hire <\/p>\n

Responsibilities may include:<\/p>\n

– Managing litigation matters from intake through resolution<\/p>\n

– Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence<\/p>\n

– Handling written discovery and document review<\/p>\n

– Conducting legal research and case analysis<\/p>\n

– Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial-related proceedings<\/p>\n

– Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams<\/p>\n

– Supporting case strategy and settlement evaluation<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n

– 2+ years of litigation experience<\/p>\n

– Insurance defense experience strongly preferred<\/p>\n

– Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills<\/p>\n

– Experience with discovery, depositions, mediations, and case management<\/p>\n

– Ability to manage deadlines and work independently<\/p>\n

– Active bar admission required; Washington bar admission preferred<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
