Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Secretary for a fully onsite, contract to permanent position with our client in Addison, TX. This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, during standard business hours. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a family law setting. This role requires exceptional technical ability, impeccable attention to detail, and the capacity to anticipate needs several steps ahead. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, manages competing priorities with ease, and maintains a polished, professional presence at all times. As a key member of the Executive Team, this position interacts frequently with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, internal teams, and firm service providers. <\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage the attorney’s email inbox continuously throughout the day.
* Prepare, organize, and prioritize documents, filings, and case materials.
* Apply in\u2011depth knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, including accurate calculation of deadlines.
* Coordinate and prepare Zoom meetings, phone conferences, and in\u2011person meetings.
* Prepare the attorney’s briefcase and materials for trials, hearings, depositions, and daily departures.
* Greet and assist clients, including providing support while the attorney concludes other meetings.
* Manage inquiries promptly to ensure clients receive timely responses.
* Assist with new client intake calls and maintain the attorney’s critical phone sheet.
* Collaborate closely with the attorney, litigation teams, administrative staff, and accounting.
* Share documents from laptop to courtroom media screens as needed.
* Work overtime as required for urgent filings, deadlines, or after\u2011hours client meetings.
* Participate in occasional out\u2011of\u2011town travel for multi\u2011day case commitments.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
