This role focuses on forecasting, inventory management, supplier performance, purchase order administration, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational efficiency and continuity of supply.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Day-to-Day Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Administrative &amp; Procurement Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Plan and procure materials based on forecasts, usage trends, and service schedules<\/li>\n<li>Create, review, and manage purchase orders<\/li>\n<li>Monitor delivery schedules, pricing, inventory levels, and part revisions<\/li>\n<li>Support weekly customer and operational meetings by providing purchase order updates and action items<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports, charts, KPIs, and procurement-related documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Supplier &amp; Vendor Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms<\/li>\n<li>Monitor supplier performance and delivery metrics<\/li>\n<li>Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, payment concerns, and delivery delays<\/li>\n<li>Manage inbound logistics, receiving issues, and inventory-related concerns<\/li>\n<li>Partner with suppliers to improve performance and support continuous improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Inventory &amp; Operations Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Maintain inventory levels in accordance with budget and operational requirements<\/li>\n<li>Analyze inventory discrepancies, obsolete materials, and scrap activity<\/li>\n<li>Support inventory accuracy and reporting efforts<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges<\/li>\n<li>Provide backup support for other materials team members as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Production or manufacturing experience required<\/li>\n<li>Strong procurement, purchasing, and materials planning experience<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ERP\/MRP systems and procurement platforms<\/li>\n<li>Strong supplier management and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing the full purchase order lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze forecasts, inventory levels, and usage trends<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills<\/li>\n<li>Associate degree preferred;
