Our client, a growing organization located in the Raleigh, NC area, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a stable company that values accuracy, efficiency, and employee service while offering opportunities for long-term career growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">While working as the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and assisting with various payroll-related functions, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and\/or semi-monthly payroll using Paycom<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing payroll data for accuracy, including employee hours, earnings, deductions, benefits, and taxes<\/li>\n<li>Auditing payroll transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations<\/li>\n<li>Processing new hires, terminations, status changes, garnishments, and direct deposit updates within Paycom<\/li>\n<li>Assisting employees and managers with payroll-related questions and issues<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling payroll reports, benefits deductions, and payroll-related general ledger accounts<\/li>\n<li>Supporting month-end and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and payroll audits<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and payroll data<\/li>\n<li>Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and maximize system efficiencies within Paycom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This is an outstanding opportunity with a company that values continuous improvement and technology. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>To be considered for this position, you should have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>2+ years of payroll processing experience<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience using Paycom required<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax withholdings, garnishments, and compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Experience processing multi-state payroll preferred<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and customer service abilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion<\/li>\n<li>CPP certification is a plus but not required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please apply!
