This is an exciting opportunity to step into a highly visible, standalone HR role, serving as the primary point of contact for all People-related matters while partnering closely with senior leadership across Legal, Finance, and Operations. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day HR operations, support the employee lifecycle, and manage sensitive employee matters, while coordinating closely with a PEO (Justworks) that handles transactional HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong HR operations experience, comfort operating independently, and the ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-moving, evolving environment.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Bachelor&#8217;s degree required; degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>5+ years of HR generalist experience, with strong exposure to HR operations and employee lifecycle management.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Demonstrated experience operating as a standalone or sole HR resource, ideally within a startup or small-company environment.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Hands-on experience managing PEO relationships required; Justworks experience strongly preferred.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Experience supporting multi-state payroll and benefits administration, required.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Proven experience leading or supporting workers&#8217; compensation and 401(k) audits, required.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance, with the ability to manage reporting and required trainings (e.g., harassment prevention, ACA).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Experience handling employee relations matters, performance issues, and separations with discretion and sound judgment.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Comfortable managing onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, and employee inquiries in partnership with external vendors.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The pay for this role is $42 &#8211;
