{"id":127286,"date":"2026-06-08T15:08:06","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T15:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/faokc6826_1780931286-billing-and-collections-specialist-oklahoma-city-oklahoma\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T18:21:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T18:21:03","slug":"faokc6826_1780931286-billing-and-collections-specialist-oklahoma-city-oklahoma","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/faokc6826_1780931286-billing-and-collections-specialist-oklahoma-city-oklahoma\/","title":{"rendered":"Billing and Collections Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/FAOKC6826_1780931286\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Job:<\/strong> Billing and Collections Specialist<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> on-site in Edmond, OK<br \/> <strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Contract to Hire with strong chance for permanent conversion <br \/> <strong>Pay Range:<\/strong> $23-25\/hour, depending on experience and skill set<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing and Collections Specialist to join a fast-paced finance team.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely billing, maintaining client accounts, and supporting overall financial operations.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This position is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The position is a full-time, on-site position with a Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm work schedule.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process weekly billing for customer accounts, ensuring invoices are accurate, submitted on time, and properly reconciled<\/li>\n<li>Manage billing across multiple platforms and electronic systems, adapting to client-specific requirements<\/li>\n<li>Apply, track, and reconcile customer payments, credits, deposits, and adjustments to maintain accurate account balances<\/li>\n<li>Review reconciliations and payment applications to ensure accuracy and minimize errors<\/li>\n<li>Review billing documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and contractual requirements<\/li>\n<li>Audit reconciliations and reports to identify discrepancies and take corrective action<\/li>\n<li>Monitor account activity and escalate concerns related to billing terms or discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and client information<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for client billing inquiries and provide timely, professional resolutions<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies by partnering with internal teams such as Finance, Sales, Operations, and Client Services<\/li>\n<li>Build strong cross-functional relationships to support smooth billing and collections processes<\/li>\n<li>Generate and analyze billing and collections reports to support business decisions<\/li>\n<li>Identify trends, issues, or opportunities for process improvements<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and implement improvements to billing workflows, systems, or reporting processes<\/li>\n<li>Stay up to date on billing systems, ERP tools, and industry best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections-related work experience<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
