{"id":127878,"date":"2026-06-17T19:15:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T19:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/nhc-1462791_1781723714-pharmacy-technician-columbus-ohio\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T21:53:32","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T21:53:32","slug":"nhc-1462791_1781723714-pharmacy-technician-columbus-ohio","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/nhc-1462791_1781723714-pharmacy-technician-columbus-ohio\/","title":{"rendered":"Pharmacy Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/NHC-1462791_1781723714\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2><strong>Pharmacy Technician &#8211; Patient Care (Remote &#8211; based in Ohio)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Location: Candidate must reside in Ohio<\/strong> (Remote)<br \/> <strong>Organization Type:<\/strong> Closed-door, patient-focused pharmacy services organization<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) with current Ohio state registration<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience in a pharmacy setting with strong understanding of prescription processing and billing<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a high-volume, phone-based environment with strong customer service skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency navigating multiple pharmacy systems with strong attention to detail and confidentiality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Job Duties<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume, phone-based environment supporting patients, providers, and care teams<\/li>\n<li>Process prescription information with speed and accuracy, including data entry, authorizations, clarifications, and transfers<\/li>\n<li>Perform claim adjudication tasks such as prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility verification<\/li>\n<li>Manage active case queues to resolve patient care issues and ensure continuity of service<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a liaison between pharmacists, providers, and patients to support medication management<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medication profiles and documentation updates<\/li>\n<li>Conduct outbound calls to patients and providers to support onboarding, verify prescription details, and address inquiries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time; Remote role.
