Our client, a NYC-based restaurant group, is seeking a Part-Time HR Consultant to support its HR function on an ongoing basis. This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting a growing restaurant group with a strong focus on compliance, payroll support, and employee relations. The consultant will work approximately 8-10 hours per week, partnering closely with leadership to ensure HR practices align with New York labor laws and hospitality industry standards. This position will play a key role in managing day-to-day HR operations, including payroll support, tip credit systems, and compliance with wage and hour regulations specific to the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in New York State labor laws, experience within hospitality or restaurant environments, and the ability to operate independently while addressing employee concerns and maintaining compliance.
