This senior-level role includes oversight of daily operations, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and mentoring junior staff. The operator ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements governing radiation, equipment, and facility operations.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC\/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a safe and quality working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Operate the cyclotron according to established protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, adjust, and control beam parameters to optimize isotope yields and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine start-up, shutdown, and preventative maintenance tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot system failures and coordinate complex repairs with Cyclotron Specialist<\/li>\n<li>Keep detailed logs of maintenance and operational activities.<\/li>\n<li>Follow radiation safety procedures and use protective equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Complete and maintain all required safety and operational documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Record production data, radiation levels, and equipment performance metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Generate reports on cyclotron output and operational incidents.<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight for cyclotron bombardments and technical training to junior operators<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by area management (i.e. inventory management, spare parts, training, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime, as necessary. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate degree in Electronics, Physics, Engineering, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Three or more years of relevant work experience required.<\/li>\n<li>Equivalent technical training and experience will be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Training in radiological safety and cyclotron operations preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use a variety of general-purpose test equipment and bench test electronic system components.  <\/li>\n<li>Good mechanical inclination and proficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Good technical troubleshooting skills with and without schematics.  <\/li>\n<li>Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the following:  solid state and vacuum tube based electronics, analog and digital circuits, logic circuits\/PLCs, high power RF systems (high HF through low VHF ranges), high voltage DC power equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and vacuum systems (mechanical, cryogenic, and\/or diffusion pumps) preferred.  <\/li>\n<li>Experience working around ionizing radiation sources preferred.  <\/li>\n<li>Experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate equipment issues to Cyclotron Specialist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Ym9zcC4wMDYzNy4xMjU4NEBiZWFjb25oaWxsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">P1460246BOSJB_1782222969<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/P1460246BOSJB_1782222969\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Maryland Heights, Missouri","_application":"bosp.00637.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[302,213],"job-types":[2,293],"class_list":["post-128139","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time","job-type-temp-to-hire"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
