With a strong operational footprint and expanding domestic and international presence, the company is focused on scalable growth, innovation, and operational excellence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Position Overview<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Accounting to lead the company&#8217;s accounting operations and financial reporting function. This role will oversee the full close process, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and build scalable processes to support growth across multiple channels, including retail, eCommerce, and distribution.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, and executive leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Oversee preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly, including cash, inventory, accruals, and intercompany balances.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Analyze key financial metrics, including gross margin, COGS, inventory, and other P&amp;L drivers, providing insights to leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Partner with FP&amp;A and senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual work and enhance efficiency and scalability. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Collaborate with external auditors to support year-end audits and other compliance requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Support ERP and systems enhancements, including implementation or optimization of accounting tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Lead or participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by executive leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Prior experience in CPG, manufacturing, or distribution environments required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, inventory accounting, and multi-entity environments <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Proven experience leading close processes and improving accounting operations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">CPA strongly preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;
