This role will lead financial reporting, planning, and analysis, while ensuring strong internal controls and scalable processes to support continued growth.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is both a hands-on operator and a strategic thinker-capable of owning the close process, building forward-looking financial plans, and translating complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Executive Support<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead preparation of board-level and executive reporting materials, including financial statements, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the CFO to develop financial narratives for board meetings, investor updates, and lender communications<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a standardized monthly reporting cadence, including actuals vs. budget, forecast, and prior year comparisons<\/li>\n<li>Deliver clear, concise insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Accounting &amp; Close Process<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the month-end close process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and oversee all general ledger activities<\/li>\n<li>Manage reconciliations across key accounts including cash, A\/R, A\/P, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals<\/li>\n<li>Oversee inventory accounting, cost analysis, and reserve calculations (e.g., obsolescence, markdowns)<\/li>\n<li>Manage tax compliance (sales tax, property tax, and other applicable filings)<\/li>\n<li>Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments<\/li>\n<li>Own the rolling forecast and provide monthly updates incorporating latest business trends<\/li>\n<li>Conduct budget vs. actual reviews and provide actionable variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Develop long-range (3-5 year) strategic financial plans<\/li>\n<li>Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and working capital optimization<\/li>\n<li>Build financial models for new initiatives, including retail expansion, product launches, and market entry strategies<\/li>\n<li>Partner with merchandising and operations on inventory planning and margin optimization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Process Optimization<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team<\/li>\n<li>Build scalable processes and systems to support company growth<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement in close timelines, reporting accuracy, and forecast reliability<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary owner of ERP and financial systems (NetSuite or equivalent)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CPA required<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred<\/li>\n<li>10+ years of progressive finance experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical accounting expertise and experience managing a full close process<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&amp;A functions<\/li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>fashion, apparel, retail, cosmetics, or consumer goods<\/strong> strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Background in both public accounting and industry experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>NetSuite or similar ERP systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success building and scaling finance teams in high-growth environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, scenario analysis)<\/li>\n<li>Strong presentation and executive communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and discretion with sensitive information<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate both strategically and tactically<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative leadership style with strong cross-functional partnership skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Compensation &amp;
