Our client, a well-established organization located in <strong>Southwest Washington<\/strong>, is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant who can step in and help keep the accounting work moving.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity for someone who likes variety, knows their way around the general ledger, and can get up to speed without needing a long runway. The Senior Accountant in this role will be supporting a busy accounting team with core accounting work, close support, reconciliations, reporting, and related projects.<\/p>\n<p>As the Senior Accountant, you would be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General ledger accounting<\/li>\n<li>Month-end close support<\/li>\n<li>Journal entries<\/li>\n<li>Account reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and researching variances<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Supporting audit preparation as needed<\/li>\n<li>Helping with related accounting projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a strong opportunity to support an organization that has a real community impact while working with a steady, professional accounting team.
