The Legal Assistant performs various administrative tasks, including providing high client service and support while consistently producing excellent work product.<\/p>\n<div class=\"form-field\">\n<p><em><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Creates, edits, spell checks, and proofreads work products following the Firm&#8217;s established document processing methods and procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>Schedules and maintains attorneys&#8217; calendars.<\/li>\n<li>Handles monthly client billing (paper and electronic billing). Review billing prebills for accuracy and completeness. Performs client, matter, and narrative edits.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares attorneys&#8217; expense reports; prepares payment of vendor invoices or checks to be drawn and charged to appropriate client\/matter numbers.<\/li>\n<li>Opens new matters and generates client conflict checks.<\/li>\n<li>Sets up and maintains attorneys&#8217;
