The role is expected to begin the week of July 13<sup>th<\/sup> and is an open ended full-time (contract) opportunity.  NY Bar admissions and ability to commute onsite to the firm in Manhattan are required.   This role compensates at $35 per hour (plus OT) and will have heavy hours, including weekend work (as needed).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The ideal attorney will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as an associate at a large law firm.<\/li>\n<li>Transactional legal experience, particularly involving commercial contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with database administration, document management, knowledge management, or legal operations.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in or experience using AI and other legal technology tools.<\/li>\n<li>Prior e-discovery experience, including QC work, privilege log work, privilege review work, redaction work, and prior experience handling targeted searches and\/or special projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documents.<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal support on transactional matters and contract management initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with legal operations, knowledge management, and document organization projects.<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation and utilization of emerging legal technologies, including AI-enabled tools.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct e-discovery work, including document review, privilege review, redaction review, quality control, and privilege log preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Execute targeted searches and assist with special projects as directed by firm leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active membership in the New York State Bar.<\/li>\n<li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to commute to the firm in Manhattan, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>E-discovery experience and familiarity with Relativity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply for this project, please send your resume in Word version <strong><em>only<\/em><\/strong>.
