Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will play a key part in financial reporting, close activities, process improvement initiatives, and special projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can help prepare financial operations for future business objectives.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.<\/li>\n<li>Support executive leadership with financial analysis, reporting packages, cash flow reporting, and ad hoc projects.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with financial due diligence requests, data gathering, and preparation of schedules for potential financing, audit, or transaction-related activities.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze operating results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other key accounting areas.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with leadership to improve accounting processes, reporting capabilities, and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, tax advisors, and other third-party stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support ERP optimization, data cleanup initiatives, system conversions, or process documentation projects.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for board, investor, lender, or ownership reporting as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Review financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects related to operational efficiency, organizational restructuring, and strategic initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and support to accounting staff and cross-functional teams as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in projects involving working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and KPI reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Help develop scalable accounting processes and documentation to support future growth and transaction readiness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>CPA license strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar accounting leadership role.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting practices.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Background in public accounting or audit.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to multi-entity or multi-location accounting environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience improving processes, implementing controls, or leading system enhancements.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with executive leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile<\/strong><br \/> This opportunity is best suited for a hands-on accounting professional who can balance day-to-day accounting execution with strategic finance initiatives.
