The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cases from inception through resolution and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant interaction across multiple stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Long-term contract opportunity with potential for temp-to-perm conversion<\/li>\n<li>Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote<\/li>\n<li>Downtown Atlanta, GA<\/li>\n<li>Immediate start available<\/li>\n<li>Hourly rate: $42\/hour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle all phases of litigation from case initiation through appeal<\/li>\n<li>Develop litigation strategy and oversee case management<\/li>\n<li>Conduct written and oral discovery<\/li>\n<li>Take and defend depositions<\/li>\n<li>Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents<\/li>\n<li>Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings<\/li>\n<li>Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with junior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and execution<\/li>\n<li>Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues<\/li>\n<li>Draft legislative and policy-related materials as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>J.D. from an accredited law school<\/li>\n<li>Active Georgia Bar license in good standing<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience practicing in both state and federal courts<\/li>\n<li>Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload<\/li>\n<li>Experience handling depositions, hearings, and motion practice<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First or second chair trial experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience mentoring or working closely with associate attorneys<\/li>\n<li>Background in municipal, county, state government, tort, employment, or constitutional law<\/li>\n<li>Experience researching and drafting legislation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to work on sophisticated and impactful litigation matters<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to a wide range of legal issues and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Potential for long-term career growth through temp-to-perm conversion<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and dynamic legal environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>For immediate consideration, please submit your resume in Word format.
