This individual will play a key role in overseeing general accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting the month-end close process, and driving continuous process improvements across the organization.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate accounting, with recent experience managing complex close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review journal entries, account analyses, and general ledger reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company accounting policies.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audit activities, including audit requests and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with business leaders to identify and implement process improvements and standardization initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with shared services and offshore accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in close optimization initiatives, helping drive accelerated month-end close timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with consolidations and consolidated financial reporting where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Support acquisition integrations, mergers and acquisitions activities, and related accounting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Research and apply relevant accounting guidance, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) and IFRS standards as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Required Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Recent hands-on experience with:\n<ul>\n<li>Month-End Close<\/li>\n<li>General Ledger Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Journal Entries<\/li>\n<li>Account and Balance Sheet Reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Financial Reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience<\/strong> Candidates should possess experience in at least four of the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal Controls and SOX Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Internal or External Audit Support<\/li>\n<li>Shared Services or Offshore Team Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Process Improvement and Standardization Initiatives<\/li>\n<li>ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics GP<\/li>\n<li>BlackLine<\/li>\n<li>Accelerated Month-End Close \/ Close Optimization<\/li>\n<li>Consolidations and Consolidated Reporting<\/li>\n<li>IFRS, IFRS 15, ASC 606, or Revenue Recognition<\/li>\n<li>Acquisition Integration and M&amp;A Support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Desired Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
