This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a seasoned legal assistant with strong civil litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support two attorneys in a busy litigation practice.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents in state and federal courts.<\/li>\n<li>Manage calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and organize case files and litigation documents.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.<\/li>\n<li>Draft and revise legal correspondence and other case-related documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4+ years of civil litigation legal assistant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and litigation workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Schedule &amp; Work Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM &#8211; 5:00 PM.<\/li>\n<li>40 hours per week.<\/li>\n<li>Fully onsite during initial training.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to work remotely one day per week after training is completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For immediate consideration, please submit your resume in Word format.
